...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 PM 
PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 12 to 
  18 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Cascades of Snohomish and Northern King Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The 
  hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. 
  Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A convergence zone as well as heavy snowfall 
  at times may allow for snowfall rates to exceed 1-1.5 inches per 
  hour. Gusty winds will limit visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Periods of 
  windy conditions with snow could limit visibilities.

Snow levels remained just above pass level, allowing pass 
temperatures to remain just above freezing. A rain-snow mix through 
Stevens Pass is making the road slushy, but little snow is 
accumulating on the roadway. Keep posted on WSDOT for the latest 
conditions as well as any restrictions or closures.
