The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Washington County in north central Kansas...

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 228 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 5 miles northeast of Haddam, moving northeast at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hollenberg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY...

At 239 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles east of Mahaska, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. Another radar-indicated 
         tornadic storm moving out of Haddam will move into the 
         warning in the next 5-10 minutes.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Hollenberg.
