The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Faribault County in south central Minnesota...
  Freeborn County in south central Minnesota...

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 952 PM CDT, a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  tornadoes and 70 mph wind gusts was located along a line from over
  Elmore to Britt in northern Iowa, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
           to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
           likely.

* This tornado will be near...
  Bricelyn around 1010 PM CDT.
  Emmons, Mansfield, Wells and Alden around 1020 PM CDT.
  Twin Lakes and Conger around 1025 PM CDT.
  Freeborn and Albert Lea around 1030 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Kiester, Walters,
Brush Creek, Baroda and Albert Lea Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.

This storm has a history of producing tornadoes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN FARIBAULT AND FREEBORN COUNTIES...

At 1019 PM CDT, a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing
tornadoes and wind gusts to 70 mph was located along a line from over
Wells to 14 miles southeast of Emmons, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
         likely.

This tornado will be near...
  Alden, Twin Lakes, Conger, Wells and Emmons around 1020 PM CDT.
  Albert Lea and Freeborn around 1025 PM CDT.
  Glenville and Hayward around 1030 PM CDT.
  Clarks Grove around 1035 PM CDT.
  Hollandale and London around 1040 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Baroda, Manchester,
Myre Big Island State Park, Albert Lea Airport and Myrtle.

FARIBAULT AND FREEBORN COUNTIES...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for eastern
Freeborn county until 11 PM.
