The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Tuscaloosa County in west central Alabama...

* Until 100 PM CDT.

* At 1216 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Woodstock, or 15 miles east of Holt,
  moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lake View, Vance, Mercedes Benz Of Alabama, Abernant, North Bibb,
  Caffee Junction, and Bucksville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 PM CDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL TUSCALOOSA COUNTY...

At 1219 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Abernant, or 16
miles southwest of Bessemer, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Lake View, Abernant, North Bibb, Bucksville, and Caffee Junction.
