  East central Thayer County in south central Nebraska...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 648 PM CDT, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was
  observed over Hebron, or 22 miles north of Belleville, moving east
  at 20 mph.

  TORNADO EMERGENCY for Hebron. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS 
SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

  HAZARD...Deadly tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris 
           may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile 
           homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, 
           businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete 
           destruction is possible.

  Hebron around 655 PM CDT.
  Gilead around 705 PM CDT.

CENTRAL THAYER COUNTY...

At 652 PM CDT, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was located
over Hebron, or 20 miles west of Fairbury, moving east at 25 mph.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL THAYER COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Emergency has been 
cancelled. However, additional tornadoes remain possible, and a 
Tornado Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Nebraska.
