Southeastern Clay County in north central Kansas...
* Until 630 PM CDT.
* At 554 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Chapman,
moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Manhattan, Junction City, Abilene, Ogden, Grandview
Plaza, Chapman, Riley, Enterprise, Milford, Woodbine, Carlton,
Milford Lake, Keats, and Moonlight.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 272 and 315.

FOR DICKINSON...GEARY...SOUTHWESTERN RILEY...NORTHWESTERN MORRIS AND
SOUTHEASTERN CLAY COUNTIES...
At 603 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Junction City,
moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Manhattan, Junction City, Abilene, Ogden, Grandview

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for central, north
central, northeastern and east central Kansas. A Tornado Watch also
remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for east central Kansas.
Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Geary, Riley and Pottawatomie counties until 645 PM.
