The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Madison County in northwestern Virginia...
  West central Culpeper County in northern Virginia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 528 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast
  of Madison, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches 
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as 
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by 
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. 
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Culpeper, Reva, Catalpa, Cardova, and Boston.

CENTRAL CULPEPER COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, heavy rain is
still possible with this thunderstorm.
