  Southeastern Banner County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 508 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 10 miles northwest of Dix to 9 miles south of
  Kimball Municipal Airport, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sidney, Kimball, Potter, Dalton, Dix, Gurley, Brownson, Lorenzo,
  Kimball Municipal Airport, Kimball County Fairgrounds, and Cheyenne
  County Fairgrounds.

extending from 11 miles north of Dix to 9 miles southeast of Kimball
Municipal Airport, moving east at 35 mph.

Westplains, moving east at 40 mph.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Sidney, Potter, Dalton, Dix, Gurley, Brownson, Lorenzo, and Cheyenne
County Fairgrounds.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 26 and
56.

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place
of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small
interior room.

KIMBALL...SOUTH CENTRAL MORRILL AND SOUTHEASTERN BANNER COUNTIES WILL
EXPIRE AT 600 PM MDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, small
hail and gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
