Later in the day, a pronounced frontal boundary will arrive from the north and lead to an abrupt wind flip from westerly to more northerly. Wind gusts exceeding 25 mph are likely to continue well into the evening hours following frontal passage. There will also be a threat for isolated showers this afternoon which will produce gusty erratic winds in their vicinity. An isolated lightning strike cannot be ruled out either.
