...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM MST
THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 6 PM MST
this evening.

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Unseasonably Warm Temperatures...and 
  Strong Gusty Winds could cause erratic fire behavior. 

* AFFECTED AREA: 
  In Central WY...Fire Weather Zones 280 and 283.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED: 
  In Central WY...Fremont...Natrona.

* WIND: West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* HUMIDITY: 13 to 20 percent.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs in the mid 50s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

...RED FLAG WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 6 PM MST FRIDAY...

Falling temperatures at sunset have allowed relative humidity
readings to slowly climb into the upper teens for many locations.
This trend continues through the evening. Therefore, the Red Flag
Warning will expire at 6 PM Friday.

Gusty westerly wind 15 to 25 mph persists through much of Friday
evening before tapering off overnight. Given dry fuels across the
area, outdoor burning of any kind is not advised.
