The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Camden County in central Missouri...
  Southern Miller County in central Missouri...
  Northwestern Pulaski County in central Missouri...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 413 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible 
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Osage Beach, Iberia, Brumley, Ulman, Freedom, Kaiser, Montreal, 
  Lake of The Ozarks and Lake of The Ozarks State Park.

This includes the following low water crossings...
  Wet Glaize at Carrol Cave Road, Atwell Creek at Highway K, Brumley 
  Creek at Warren School Road, Dry Auglaize Creek at Freedom Ridge 
  Road and Weimer Creek at White School Road.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

SOUTHEASTERN CAMDEN, SOUTHERN MILLER AND NORTHWESTERN PULASKI

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT Tuesday for 
portions of southeast Kansas and Missouri.
