The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Williamson County in south central Texas...
* Until 300 AM CDT.
* At 1025 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Round Rock, Georgetown, Taylor, Granger, Serenada, Hutto,
Bartlett, Thrall, Weir, Granger Dam, Georgetown Dam, Sun City,
Jonah, Waterloo, Walburg, Hoxie, Sandoval, Laneport and Hare.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Pecan Branch, Opossum Creek, Weir Branch, Dry Berry Creek, South
Fork Mustang Creek, Brushy Creek, North Fork San Gabriel River,
South Fork San Gabriel River, Long Branch, Mileham Branch, Berry

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
