The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Brown County in west central Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 508 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.75 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.75 to 1.5 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing 
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Brownwood, Early and Camp Bowie.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Gifford at Beaver, Austin Street at Avenue G, Belle Plain at 
Romines, Good Shephard at 11th, Indian Creek at 9th, Willis at 
Belmeade, Magnolia at Belmeade, 4th Street at Wood, Cordell at 
Anderson and Austin Street at Avenue J.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
