...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Edwards and Val Verde.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over 
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 807 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
    1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Rocksprings, Comstock, Loma Alta, Langtry, Carta Valley,
    Seminole Canyon State Park, Shumla, Pumpville, Devils River
    State Nat Area Del Norte, Vinegarone, Devils River State Nat
    Area Big Satan, Bakers Crossing, Pecos River Boat Ramp and
    Devils Sinkhole State Natural Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
