...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Medina and Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 607 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sabinal and Concan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Medina and Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 725 AM CDT, Doppler radar and surface observations are
    reporting very little rain over the advisory area the last
    hour. Water continues to recede. The affected areas received
    between 1 to 4 inches of rainfall the last 3 hours, however,
    additional rainfall amounts are forecast to be very little to
    none the next few hours. Therefore, letting the Flood
    Advisory expires at 8 AM. Just be careful as ponding of water
    could still be around through the morning hours.
  - Some locations that could be experiencing flooding include...
    Sabinal and Concan.
