...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  county, Menard.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1149 PM CDT, Radar estimated rainfall amounts of 3 inches
    near Menard. Low water crossing were flooded near Menard, and
    minor rises may occur on the San Saba river near Menard. NO
    additional rainfall is expected, bu Minor flooding is ongoing
    or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2
    and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Menard, Hext, Saline, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Highway
    29, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1773, Us-83 Near
    The Kimble-Menard County Line and Us-377 Near The Kimble-
    Menard County Line.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    crossings along FM 1221, Decker St. crossing San Saba River,
    Mahan crossing Taylor Branch, Blau crossing, Saline crossing
    Little Saline Creek, Long Mt. crossing Leon Creek and Ranch
    Road 2291 crossing Las Moras Creek.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
