* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Saint Louis County in east central Missouri...
Saint Louis City in east central Missouri...
* WHEN...Until 715 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 122 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Louis, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin,
Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Clayton,
Jennings, Crestwood, Town and Country and Eureka.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory has expired for a portion of east central
Missouri, including the following area and independent city, Saint
Louis and Saint Louis City.
The heavy rain has ended. Urban area and small stream flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT Tuesday for portions
of southwest Illinois and east central Missouri.
