* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of
water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 403 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory
area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eureka, Arcata, Orick, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Trinidad,

The Flood Advisory will expire at 11 PM PST this evening for a
portion of northwest California, including the following area,
Humboldt.
The heavy rain has ended. Most small stream levels are decreasing. A
River Flood Warning is still in effect for the Eel River. However,
general flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please
continue to heed remaining road closures.
