...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northwestern Jim Hogg County in deep south Texas...
Northeastern Zapata County in deep south Texas...
* WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 319 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This is causing arroyo and small stream flooding.
Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hebbronville, Randado, Thompsonville, South Fork Estates,
Escobas, Guerra, Gruy Stadium, Jim Hogg County Airport,
Hebbronville High School, Las Lomitas and Hebbronville Border
Patrol Station.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
