* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Humboldt County in northwestern California...
* WHEN...Until 600 AM PST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated. There will
be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 301 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Honeydew, Shelter Cove, Petrolia, Whitehorn, Ettersburg and
Briceland.
