* WHERE...Southeastern Darlington County in northeastern South
Carolina...
Northwestern Florence County in northeastern South Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 6 inches of rain have fallen
today in Quinby with lesser amounts so far in Florence.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 3 inches are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Florence, Quinby, Mcleod Regional Medical Center, Carolinas
Hospital System - Cedar Tower, Health South Rehabilitation
Hospital and Carolinas Hospital System.
