...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall.

* WHERE...The southern portion of the Illinois Valley in Josephine 
  County.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Rapid rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. 
  Ponding in urban areas is also possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 448 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
    fallen in 24 hours.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that could experience flooding include...
    Cave Junction, Kerby, Obrien, Takilma, Selma and Lake Selmac
    Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* WHERE...The southern portion of the Illinois Valley in Josephine 
  County.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water 
  in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 429 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain over the past 24 hours of between 3 and
    4 inches. This will continue urban and small stream flooding
    this evening.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area overnight. This additional rain will continue
    to produce minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cave Junction, Kerby, Obrien, Takilma, Selma and Lake Selmac
    Park.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall continues. Small creeks and streams have likely reached a 
  peak on Tuesday evening, with only light showers tapering off into 
  Wednesday. But, flooding will persist into Wednesday morning.

* WHERE...The southern portion of the Illinois Valley in Josephine 
  County.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams. Ponding of water in urban or other areas 
  is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 952 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cave Junction, Kerby, Obrien, Takilma, Selma and Lake Selmac
    Park.
